Got woken up a few minutes ago at 5am with the wind howling and windows rattling. The current JTWC and CWB predictions have the eye passing just south of Taipei around 1-2pm today, so it’ll probably be like this all day.

Dear Dr. James,
I saw a criticism about Reverse Osmosis Water by a Professor from Taiwan. He said the RO Water is too clean for drinking, is that true as it is lack of Calcium … and other minerals…. Another point is our water supply is from Mainland China!! So what is my choice? Should I use the RO Water mix with tap water to boil or just use a normal filter to make drinking water?

Better to be missing some minerals than have it full of sediment, bacteria, viruses and chemicals.
